Listing Photography Preparations Checklist

 

All items must be completed before the photographer arrives

We can not move items in the home

We are not liable for the condition of the home

We can not digitally remove items or manipulate the image in any way

All dogs MUST be caged, kept outside, or in a separate room

 

• Turn on and verify all lights work; including lamps, cabinet lights, and exterior lights
• Turn off all fans, ensure they are free of dust
• Verify all blinds are working, clean windows inside and out
• Hide all trash cans and trash bins
• Hide all personal information including pictures and awards
• De-clutter as much as possible, we recommend hiding as many things as possible in closets, cabinets, and in the garage

 

Exterior

• Hide garden hoses
• Remove vehicles from driveway
• Hide dog toys & children’s toys
• De-clutter patios & grill areas
• Do not hide items on the sides of the home, they will be visible

 

Main Room

• Turn off TVs
• Hide remotes
• De-clutter end tables

 

Kitchen

• Clear counter-tops
• Put away all dishes
• Hide small appliances (toaster, coffee machine, ect)
• Hide towels and soap/dish cleaning tools
• Hide kitchen mats and rugs
• Hide animal food/water bowls
• Wipe down counters, cabinets, and large appliances

 

Office

• Turn off all computer monitors
• De-clutter desk as much as possible
• Hide all sensitive mail, papers, and information

 

Bedrooms

• Turn off TVs
• De-clutter bedside tables

 

Bathrooms

• Hide all counter top items; including soap, towels, and toiletries
• Hide bath mats, towels, and weight scales
• Clean shower glass and mirrors
• Hide all toiletries from the shower and bathtub
